The final segment on advice for minimizing a large chest at work. This segment’s all about dresses, which are unbelievably hot this season - especially paired with tights, boots, etc.

The tips are similar to what we’ve already talked about for tops and jackets. Really, your best bet will be an open neckline, which will absolutely prevent you from looking top heavy.
Two great styles to try are wrap dresses and sweetheart necklines (though you have to watch the appropriateness of this one for work). Keep in mind that with deep necklines, a camisole or tank may have to be added to minimize the cleavage and maximize the work factor.
Dresses that flow away from the hip (like A-line) will balance out your top and bottom halves.
Key things to avoid:
- Turtleneck dresses or similar styles with high necklines. These are great if you want to create the uniboob look.
- Sweater dresses without an open neckline. I know sweater dresses are everywhere this season, and it’s tempting snap up one of these babies (they could be a good casual look for the office). Don’t even pick it up unless it has an open neckline. A sweater will only add bulk, so purchase with caution!
- Halter dresses. Inappropriate for work in 99% of instances.
