Hi Bestie!
Love the vlog and I 100% agree with Holly in Heels (Hi Holly!). It took a lot of courage to come forward about your health struggles. You have been an inspiration to me for over a decade and you keep inspiring me with your spirit. I love you and cherish our friendship deeply (I’m actually starting to tear up a little-shocking I know.)
Keep up the vlogs, you look fabulous!!!

I am a lucky lady to have you as a friend – you have truly seen my at my worst, and at my best, always by my side…down for the ride. I love you so very much. Thank you, thank you.

Kate, this is so scary. I have a friend who passed away from complications from Crohn’s a few years ago – very unusual, I know, but it can happen. I’m so glad to hear that you’re taking care of yourself & focusing on getting healthy. As you may know, I went through some tests recently to see if I had Crohn’s – or colitis or Celiac’s. Turns out I just have gastritis, a problem with too much acid eroding the lining of my stomach – but it’s treatable, manageable, etc., & I’m really thankful for the diagnosis. Still, it’s good to know that if it were Crohn’s, I’d have someone to turn to for some life advice! Stay healthy, my dear.

Dear Kate,

I couldn’t read this article from my iPhone but I suffer from lupus ands my husband is relocating me to LA because my health has been bad in Missouri due to drastic climate changes and changes in disease activity m. I’m assuming you suffer from many of the issues that I so like extreme pain and extreme fatigue. I applaud you for bringing awareness to an autoimmune disease that hurts so many people. I personally had a teacher friend who had to quit his first year of teaching bc he was very sick. I am glad you are not only thriving but surviving!! I might take inspiration from you and start my own blog someday.
