One look at the timeline below and you can see I’m a signature fragrance kind of girl. Once I find something I like, I stick with it. For years. I remember in college, my roommate Monica had this great assortment of perfumes; it was always like a game, picking which one to wear for the night.
Now that I have my vanity set up in my bedroom again, I do think it would be romantic to have a perfume tray with a collection of fragrances.
If I was a go-back kind of girl, I’d probably return to Chanel Allure and Marc Jacobs Lola {which I’m still currently wearing}. I just purchased YSL Parisienne, which I had been wearing for a week or so and decided I liked {Thanks Sephora for the sample!} and am also in love with that Michael Kors fragrance. Oh, what to choose for 2011?
And because you know I like to quantify…most-used words? Sensual, Warm, Sexy, Feminine. Granted, there are only so many words you can use to describe perfume.
But if perfume descriptions meant something, what would yours say about you?

I just love all of your perfumes! I am definitely a signature scent kind of person, with Chanel Chance being my scent of choice right now. It’s a lovely scent, very feminine!
Oh mine would say “the road to hell” because I always *intend* to explore perfume options. So I guess…”Dove” best describes my chosen scent.
I’ve been thinking about switching up my perfume lately – I’ll have to take a look at these. I’ve been wearing Burberry London for years now, and although I still love it, variety is nice.
According to the Sephora website, “Burberry’s new fragrance embodies the elegant, yet modern spirit of Burberry London. It epitomizes the cosmopolitan London lifestyle with independence and relaxed confidence.”
Hm, okay!
Ooooh, signature fragrances. After reading this, I finally came to terms with the cold, hard truth: I’ve been wearing the SAME fragrance since I was a sophomore in college… 2000-2001. YIKES. I think it’s time for a change… because that’s absolutely ridiculous.
Ohmygosh I had SO MANY perfumes! I finally got rid of them all last year, and you know what I found among the lot? Elizabeth Arden’s SUNFLOWERS!! Uh, 1991 called…
I think if I were to go back to my fave it would be Aqua di Gio. I like a nice watery fresh scent.
