This outfit is so utterly The Craft that it’s a little uncanny.

The Craft - Neve Campbell

Released in 1996, The Craft was the first Rated R movie I ever snuck into; it holds a very special place in my heart. I was in middle school, and it made me feel so rebellious, so cool. When Adiel mentioned the movie in relation to my outfit, it stuck. The movie is a cult classic and if you haven’t seen it, you must. Or, maybe that’s just my nostalgia talking.

And, since the ’90s are back in full force, here are my tips for dressing like a modern-day Neve Campbell:

  • Maxi Dress or Slip Dress
  • Leather jacket
  • Oversized or cropped sweaters/jackets
  • Boots
  • Crushed velvet if you dare

I’m serious. You can do the whole 90s style thing while looking modern and polished. I’d personally skip on the goth jewelry though, but that’s just me.

And, back to the outfit at hand: the dress, which has felt edgy but still boho up until this point {see previous post}, now feels 100% ’90s with the addition of the combat booties and leather jacket. I’m not mad at it.
