One thing I am appreciating more about myself as I get older is my willingness to go for something (it has to be a well-calculated risk, of course). But once I make up my mind, I go for it. Exhibit A is above. So far lots of nice compliments and a few funny ones.
Also, side note: the receptionist at the salon totally made my day when she told me, “I always thought you must work in design or fashion, because you always look so put together.” And I’m not joking. It really did make my day. lol.

True, true! You DO always look put together, and you stand out because not too many make the effort these days, it seems. (I’m guilty.)
