Acid Wash and Floral with Missguided US

The first comment I got about this outfit was, “You look adorable.” Immediately followed by, “You look really…80s.” Hey now, they’re not mutually exclusive!

When I was dreaming up outfits for an upcoming event, the thought of an acid wash romper had me all kinds of excited. I found the perfect one, but was nervous about the fit because any one-piece outfit can be tough. I sized up because I know:

1. I get a little nervous about reallllly short shorts.
2. I didn’t want to run the risk of the romper being all around too tight.

I was stoked when it turned out to fit pretty perfectly! I highly recommend sizing up on rompers and playsuits.

Made out of a lightweight material, this romper was the perfect choice for a weekend wine tasting event with some of my girlfriends. It even held up in 90 degree heat, which is NOT an easy feat. Since the romper speaks for itself, I played it up with some super feminine accessories to complete the look. Accessories included a hair scarf that I haven’t rocked for years and some heels to up the fanciness factor. The look ended up somewhere between 80s wild child and retro pinup girl. I’m definitely okay with that.
