This is my first Bloggers do it Better challenge! I’ve been thinking about it all week, since I’m on shopping hiatus and my menswear clothing is um. kinda limited. The instructions were to incorporate a traditional tie, and I tried…but trust me when I say that it didn’t work out. I went with the cravat {aka scarf} in the hair. The pale pink scarf and the gold shoes are not super masculine or american prep, but I needed something girly!

hah. took a whole series of shots where I looked PATHETIC. The laugh was my attempt to brighten things up a bit.
SO much harder to take photos at the end of the day, compared to the beginning…

This is the second “prep” look I’ve seen and I like how both looks are so different. I think the little oxfords are perfect! The blazer is cute too and the bow in your hair is the perfect amount of girliness.

Those shiny brouges are FIERCE!! And I love the added touch of the scarf. I didn’t have a tie either but I made it work anyway. As a matter of fact, I didn’t even wear a blazer! Just now realizing that I didn’t follow ANY of the rules.
