I saw a great graphic on Pinterest last week: “Punch today in the face,” it said. Sometimes, no matter what the circumstance, you have to drag yourself out of bed, put on something you love and get out into the fresh air. And that’s exactly what I did; totally admit that I got dressed up to go to a coffee shop today. JFTR, I got a decaf soy vanilla latte and a vanilla orchid root kombucha and then walked my sweet ass back home.
The rest of the city is going crazy with Bay to Breakers today, and it feels good to have a day to myself.
