DIY: Scalloped Shorts

I made these scalloped shorts at the end of the season last year and rediscovered them in the back of a drawer last week. Inspiration struck! Paired with mixed neutrals and a tweed jacket, the concept of cutoffs is totally elevated. A handful of rings toughen it up. This look is also easily dressed down with sandals or flats for a great weekend run-about-town kind of look. I have a feeling I’ll be wearing these a lot this summer. :)Linking up with Real Girl Glam andFriday’s Five!

Cute idea!! I may have to try one myself :). I love the chicness of a blazer paired with cutoff shorts!

I love this! I made scallop shorts last summer and tried to do it the sewing way, but they came out like crap. Then I used fray check and it made my legs itch! So alas, I had to throw out my DIY. This is so cute though. I love anything scalloped! <3

Thanks lady! I definitely took the quick and dirty approach with no sew, but it worked…for the most part!
