Floral:Floral

I’m kind of dying to try this floral on floral trend. Anyone can mix prints…but combining florals?! That takes the cake. You have to be b-r-a-v-e. Some of the fave looks I’ve stumbled across lately:

And some fierce bloggers showing how it can be done in reality:

From what I can tell, I think the trick is incorporating a micro print. I have scoured my closet to find something worthwhile, and I cannot find a single tiny floral print so I settled for a little virtual browsing instead. Click through to see my floral on floral mixes!

Look #1: Maxi skirt, Gray top, Peach tulip back tank top. I would totally accessorize with that hat and some sweet strappy flats.

Look #2: Belted skirt, Gray blouse, 3/4 sleeve blouse. Perfect with wedges.
Look #3: Skirt, Pale pink top. Pink on pink, pink on red, blush on coral. However you look at it, I am loving this combo. I’d pair it with a structured blazer or fitted leather jacket to toughen it up a bit.

I do NOT love that Leighton Meester look, but the rest of these are really light & pretty. I especially like your takes!
