I was getting worried about these little gold oxfords. Not only had I not worn them in quite some time, but I was trying and it just. wasn’t. working. Square peg, round hole kind of scenario. It’s been such a love affair, but I was left asking myself if it was time to move on.
Then, I wore them with this outfit. Let’s just say that we seem to have reconciled our differences.
If you know me, you know I like need to avoid looking too cutesy at pretty much any cost. If you feel the same way — drawn to floral but unsure how to downplay the girly factor — try this! Adding a heavy dose of denim and bold metallic accents to your floral ensemble can really toughen it up.

Those gold oxfords are super cute! I have a similar pair in pink and I sort of have a love/hate relationship with them too. Haha! I think the way you styled them is so fun and fresh. I love that vest and your cute smile! <3

I heart the metallic oxfords. Glad they found their way back in!
