Granny Chic

One of my pet peeves is when people tack the word chic on to any old phrase to elevate it. But in this case, I really do think that this look is granny chic. I like to think of outfit this as granny mostly because of the scarf and clogs. You could argue that the bun is kind of granny too, and I wouldn’t be mad atcha.

Speaking of, the craziest thing about this post is not even the faces I’m making in the fourth and fifth photos {thug face and comically excited face, respectively}. It’s the crazy-ass bun on the top of my head. That is all my real hair, without a donut. Say what? I don’t even know.

Also, I have to give a shout out to my most recent Poshmark find, this adorable studded Rebecca Minkoff bucket bag. I’ve been wanting a bucket bag for ages — such a boho/relaxed kind of vibe. Want to make it edgy? Put a stud on it.
