Remember when I took a trip this summer with my cousin to a yoga and wellness retreat in Arizona? Feels like so long ago! Well, while I was there I wrote a letter to my future self and that letter arrived in the mail today. Cue excitement…I love getting real mail! These gentle reminders are as true now as they were then. Instead of Little Lessons, I thought I’d share a truncated version of my letter.
- See each healthy day as a gift and embrace it.
- Take care of your body and it will take care of you.
- Get strong and you will build a whole new appreciation for life.
- See adventure with newfound freedom!
- Don’t let fear hold you back.
- Instead of bracing for impact, breathe deeper.
- If you can put fear in its place you will be well on your way.
- Don’t let other people put down what you consider a gift.
- Authentic self is the highest power.
- Listen to your Inner Guide.

Love your list. It helps to remember the clarity of that trip. I got my letter too. It felt really important to check in and see what I was still carrying with me from that trip and to pull back a couple of things that I had let slip away.
