I usually post Little Lessons on Tuesday…and this week I promised you Wednesday…and now it’s Friday (where the heck has the time gone?) So I am back with some lessons from this week.
- I used to say that I don’t want the whole world to know my personal life. That said, I think I share a bit too much about my personal life at work and not enough on my blog. hmm, something to think about.
- 6 items of clothing for a whole month? Does anyone want to put money on whether or not I can do this? I’m thinking about it.
- I’ve been craving spinach the last couple of days, but haven’t bought any because I didn’t think I would be able to eat a whole bag before I took off for the wedding I am attending this weekend. Still thinking specifically of: spinach with strawberries, walnuts, cheese, and champagne/pear vinaigrette.
- I am experiencing some new-to-me things in the blogosphere these days, and it’s making me feel a little uneasy.
- Thank you, Abby, for always understanding my lamest of complaints.
- My bosses read my blog!
- Â Top Gun is still one of my favorite movies.
- I’m 99% sure I’m canceling my hair coloring appointment as part of the effort to curb my spending. I’ve also had 2 nightmares about it. Okay, not nightmares. Bad dreams. Does that make me superstitious?
- 8a. The first dream involved hot pink spots, human trafficking, and an auto shop.
8b. The second is mostly fuzzy but involved bleach blonde tips circa 1997. - If your child is old enough to read a chapter book, he shouldn’t be in a stroller.
- 9a. In tandem, it is highly inadvisable to visit any kind of museum on a free day.
- I think the Avon moisturizer is what is making my eyes water ALL the time {day two of testing commencing today.}
found this image hilarious, and just had to share. image via.

I got your back, sister. And thanks for understanding mine too! p.s. spinach/strawberry/goat cheese/candied pecans/champagne vinaigrette is ah. maz. ing. (I’m anti-walnut, pers.)
r.e. #2: Why don’t you just try two weeks? Less pressure. I’d do it with you, but without on-site laundry, it’d be impossible!
#2 – You can do it.
#7 – another Top Gun dress up day is needed for you!
#9 & 9a – agreed
i’ve followed style rookie for a while now – she’s insane, and fabulous. But she’s got nothing on you 🙂
ummmm hello! i adore your blog! hope you can visit mine!

I think the canceling the hair appointment is a good idea. You have beautiful light brown hair. I asked my friend who does hair if she would dye mine this last weekend and she refused. She said I will be gray soon and spending tons of money then and that I should wait. haha.
