Little Lessons on a Tuesday

- I totally get why people who do manual labor have a higher level of job satisfaction. After wrapping our shoot on Sunday I was so physically tired, but also completely fulfilled.
- Sparkly and shiny things make me happy {see sequined MJ crop top & gold lame blouse, above, sneak peeks of some of the looks from The Nest shoot this weekend.}
- Congrats to my incredibly talented hair stylist, Shannon, on her engagement! {and in other related selfish news: when Shannon said, “I have some news for you.” I actually visibly paled and said, “oh no,” because I thought she was going to say she was moving back to SoCal! Hell-o, wrong reaction.}
- I reallyreally want to stay here. {Thanks for making me jealous, Derek.}
- Tim and Tessa are the cutest couple in the ENTIRE world!
- 30 for 30 is happening at an amazing time. I realized yesterday that since I have my 30 items picked, I can pack ALL of my other clothes into boxes and suitcases for the move!
- Grilled cheese sandwich with prosciutto, yummmm.
- I love gambling. Good thing I don’t live in Nevada. {We used to have poker nights at work, and I won once! So fun!}
- I want to go to Texas.
- Straight hair!! {see below} + the military sweater I refused to take off all weekend. lovelovelove.

ace hotel: YES. I always always always get coffee at the ace in pdx, and spent the most magical weekend at the ace palm springs this summer. the seattle one is in a weird part of town but looks super cute. haven’t been to nyc in years…. sigh.
