- Two phrases I love right now: {1} the bizness. As in, hey girl, you the bizness. and {2} illest. As in, replace bizness with illest.
- Jelly jars = amazingly useful. I use them to hold/display my makeup brushes. Supercute.
- I am easily embarrassed when people talk about how I look in a face-to-face setting. It makes me horribly self-conscious!
- I really like strawberry cupcakes. My roommate happens to be an amazing baker. hmmm. Can someone come up with something to celebrate please? That way we can go to House of Prime Rib & have strawberry cupcakes for dessert!
- I am looking for a new styling project! Hit me up if you have any ideas on collaboration or know someone in need of a stylist.
- Just Dance on Wii. OMG. Not that I know anything about video games, but I find the graphics kind of lackluster. No matter though, because it is seriously so fun. Highly, highly recommend it if you love to shake it or want to pick up some new moves. Thanks Kristen!
- I have to give a shout out to my family because christmas was just so magical this year. Highlights: My dad and stepmom getting me a purse I’ve been wanting for ages, my grandma confiding in me that she thinks I am the type of person who can accomplish anything I set my mind to, and my cousin/her husband crocheting the most adorable ornaments I’ve ever seen. Big big thank you to EVERYONE. If you’re reading, I love you!
- People coming out of the woodwork. Freaks me out and I love it, all at the same time. That is all.
- I have the hottest friends! Just thought you should know. NYE pics forthcoming {JB, I’m lookin’ at you!}
- GIVEAWAY TIME!!! Just leave a comment with one of your new years resolutions! I want to know what you’re up to. You could win the Jonathan Adler ceramic Starbucks mug I’ve been lusting after. {trust me, it’s hard to find…completely sold out in SF!}. Extra entry for new followers, closes Friday 01/07. Winner chosen at random. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Ooh, I like the jelly jar idea! And I’ve never said “the bizness,” but, um, now I want to.
I haven’t made resolutions but am thinking about doing it somewhat belatedly. So one of mine, as I commit to doing every year, is to lose at least 15 pounds. But I really want this to be the year it HAPPENS…
the new years resolution i’m most likely to stick to is to become more active on the blogs i read…and hopefully i can translate that in to starting my own blog…you inspire me
Girl if you take me on a date to House of Prime Rib I will bake you the most amazing strawberry cupcakes you have ever tasted!
I have not one, but TEN resolutions! {on my blog of course!}My fav so far is to take a trip abroad with our amazing girls!
ohhh i like! and just dance is addicting! love it.
my new years resolution (one of the many, ha!): to cook or bake one thing each week that seems too challenging and difficult!
it could be an epic disaster. i can’t wait.
I love Just Dance!! My girlfriends and I drunkenly play it when we have Girl’s Nights haha. And is it just me or are you sore the next day?! It’s like a freakin’ workout.
Oooh I have been needing to get my paws on a new coffee cup!
This year I resolve to get back into shape. Srsly.
No resolutions for me. I do set goals, and I’ve set a pretty big intention for 2011 – I am dedicating this year to taking back the things I’ve let go. MY space, my life, and my health. I’m pretty pumped about it, actually!
I started with 11 goals for 2011 but after reading goals that others have posted, I have now expanded to 20. I am excited to see how many I can achieve.
Among them: Get out of debt, read more, eat less, cook more, buy a new dslr camera and learn to use it, exercise more, craft more, travel. . .I am excited that the new year is finally here so I can get started!
did you add starting a blog to that?! please?!
Yes! Actually I just added that one. Will let you know when it is up and running! Thanks for the inspiration. 🙂
Wow this post is adorable. My friend and I have recently been overusing the word “totes” (as in totally shortened. SO gross. So wonderful). Also, if you put pretty sand in those jars, it adds another element and keeps the brushes ‘stuck’ in place. Too cute.
AND finally my resolution… I want to try something new and out of my comfort zone once a week. Even if it is simply cooking a meal thats way out of my league. This week I sewed a circle skirt. It was terrifying and amazing.
My New Years Resolution, Live one day at a time and thank God daily for the miracles he provides.
So Glad you liked the purse and am happy to get my first shout out on your blog. Love ya.
I have so many resolutions and goals this year. I’m working on a happiness project to help me accomplish them all. This month I’m specifically working on energy so I’m trying to exercise better and go to sleep earlier. 🙂
One of my goals for the new year is to run one full marathon and one half marathon! I want that mug!!!!
one of my goals for this year is to get my blog on your level!
another is to get in shape! (so original). life as a chub chub is *not* the business.
my resolution: fill up my spa pedicure punch card.
My new years resolution is to complete Project 365, as well as start exercising more and get a new job!
Oh, fun! One of my goals for the new year is to keep in touch with long distance friends better! I’m horrible!
(and yes, I second your observation on the Just Dance graphics – that’s all they could come up with?)
My only resolution is to keep up with my 101 in 1001 list – so basically MANY resolutions, eep.
My new years resolution is to find a job I love. Oh man… been wanting a new one for four years… I really really hope this is the year I will buckle down and find one!
Hi Guys!!
I love seeing your goals for the year, it’s so inspiring and motivating!
Thanks for commenting 🙂
One of my new years resolutions is reduce waist. This has a couple different meanings :), but the one I am really trying to focus on is garbage, more recycling and composting…
