- I just realized that my hair has grown SO MUCH in the past year. and I am totally down with it being long.
- I overdrew my checking account last week. That’s the first time that has happened since, like, 1998. Woops. Thank god for overdraft protection. {and what was the purchase that put me in the red, you ask? That would be a super big gulp Pepsi from 7-11.}
- I’m in the market for a new perfume. Any suggestions? I’m a pretty fresh kind of girl.
- I fell down the rabbit hole of fashion/lifestyle blogs this weekend, and spent {seriously} 8 hours JUST READING blogs. As a consequence, I have no outfit pics for days #20 or #21. Because, you know, I didn’t get dressed.
- I forced myself to be polite and to have a conversation with a little old lady at the laundromat. Hashtag small talk progress.
- Weddings move over, seems like lots of friends have baby fever right now. Congrats Marg and Kristin! {I am so excited to make baby quilts.}
- I enjoy being a homebody.
- It’s abundantly clear that I’m going to need a lot more than 3 sessions to get up to speed with this whole Pilates thing. I got really mad this morning when I put my backpack on and I could actually feel all the work I had done the night prior being reversed. Ugh. Commuting.
- House + Bones + dinner parties + blogging = pretty much ideal long weekend.
- Just say no to facebooking when you’ve had more than 2 glasses of wine.

I wear a few perfumes… The “freshest” one is called Dirt, by Demeter. You can buy them from Sephora. The scents are all unexpected, but really nice. Dirt smells like dirt, there’s also Fresh Laundry, and TONS of different scents. And it isn’t overly pricey.
I wear “Nina” by Nina Ricca and really like it. It’s fresh and not too powerful. Also, I overdrew my bank account and was so embarrassed – I’m so glad I’m not the only adult it happened to!
This reminds me that I need to catch up on “Bones.” Greaaaaat.
I won’t tell you how much I overdrafted in the last couple of years – like to the tune of embarrasing 4-digit sums. It was a really terrible cyle that I couldn’t break UNTIL I switched to a credit union, and I have never looked back.
My perfume of choice smells like sexy cookies but they discontinued it – my other one is super fresh, it’s called Shi by Alfred Sung: http://www.amazon.com/Alfred-Sung-Women-Parfum-Ounces/dp/B000C1Z19M
I’m a fan of fresh perfumes too; nothing too heavy. The DKNY apple range is lovely, quite light and fruity.
Sarah Jessica Parker’s scents are good too, particularly Lovely.
