- Peach rings are my favorite candy right now. I swear, they really help me concentrate at work.
- Do you think that the Nissan Versa {hatchback} looks like a roller skate? I kind of like it…I think it’s a zippy little car and could be good for hauling stuff {’cause you know I do that a lot}, but I’m getting a lot of pushback from my car-lover friends.
- I bought some sunscreen that has light reflection stuff in it. It makes me look kind of sparkly. I told my 13 year old sister it made me look like Edward and she rolled her eyes. #dork. I know, I know. It was a joke!!
- I love the smell of Italian cooking. And gasoline. And Books. And Michael Kors perfume. Not all at the same time.
- I have a coworker who has the most impeccable accessorization skills. No matter what she wears, her accessories are always the perfect complement. Jealous!
- My dad is the best. Dad, thanks for carting me around all weekend. Dad and Shell, thanks for taking such good care of me. Matt, thanks for always holding my hand and Josie, thanks for swimming with me. Even though I owe you $5 for those rocks.
- I never really used to pay attention to hydration and now I can’t function on less than 8 glasses of water a day. It’s crazy.
- I am not going to lie, I am bummed about borders closing. I’m interested in an iPad for blogging-on-the-go purposes, but e-readers just don’t do it for me. Books are part of what makes a house a home.
- I am very very interested in this. Get me back to crafting!
- Don’t wear knitwear in 100 degree heat. What the eff was I thinking? Dummy. Sometimes function over fashion IS the right choice. harharhar.

i agree with #8. i seriously hope that publishers will keep printing books even though bookstores are slowly disappearing. i just don’t believe that ebooks are “real” books.
Graduating with a degree in English lit. there is something inside of me that wants to reject e-readers so badly. However, when I got my ipad I figured I’d just try the kindle app and see if it would be as difficult as I thought it would be. I’ve found that with the e-reader I read so much more now. Plus I heard that libraries are signing up with developers to create a method to check out books on the i-pad, so it could be cheaper than ever to read (well, kind of….)
I am with you that I think books make a house a home and that was one of the reasons I was so opposed to using the kindle on my ipad but I’ve found now that if I am going to read a book that I want to be in my library I just buy the print, and if I want to read a book for the fun of it (Tina Fey’s Bossypants), I’ll just download it.
