Little Lessons on a Tuesday

Holy Body by Bethenny work out. I know I’m not in tip-top shape, but I feel all kinds of sore after my first try with that DVD. Highly recommend for anyone who is into home workouts!
You maybe wouldn’t think it, but oil + water are my mainstays for this summer season. {more to come…}
I realized that next month is my GOLDEN BIRTHDAY {29 on the 29th – gasp!}. What should we do in blogland to celebrate?
I have to leave for work in 5 minutes, and am in no way ready. I have been blogging since I got out of the shower 30 minutes ago. Gotta love inspiration.

Decided that I most definitely do not want to see The Help when it comes out. That book was so touching {I cried}, and blended historical events with fiction…and the previews make the movie look funny. Just a little too counterintuitive to me.

{subpoint} I cry at the drop of hat when it comes to: Movies, Television, Books. I draw the line at Music. Fine line.

I’ve had the sameÂ brown boots for 6 years, and nowÂ I think it might be time for a change. Do you think that the price tag is justified on these given that I’ve waited 5 years for a new pair?

It’s so funny you said that about “The Help” preview – I was thinking the same thing when I saw it last night! I know I’ll still see the film, but I’m a little anxious about how it seems they’ve turned it into a somewhat lighthearted comedy – not how I’d describe the book at all! Good to know I’m not the only one 🙂
