I’ve been looking for a new plain white tee for at least 2 years. Seriously. At least once week I think, “You know what would go great with xyz outfit?”
The answer is always a plain white tee.
It’s not that they’re difficult to find, I just have a hard time spending money on the basics. They’re so un-fun to buy. No rush, no thrill of the chase, you get what I’m saying. Despite that, I AM pleased with my new plain white tee, thanks for asking. I find Alternative Apparel clothing has a great quality and weight. And I like the cut of this sleeveless tee quite a bit, too!
I added some spice with 3 different style necklaces: minimalist, tribal, and glamorous. Tough hardware on the bag. Extra interest with the printed pants — snakeskin — but they almost read as a neutral. The lucite heel isn’t bad to look at, either. All in all, this outfit looks tame from far away, but has some pretty rad elements once you get down to the details.

I love white tshirts. I hate how I’m 36 and not making past 10am without a coffee of green juice on one! If you’ve gotten beyond this stage in life, you’re more than a woman to me!
I am a jewelry lover but for some reason I always have trouble layering necklaces like that. You did an awesome job with it!

So pretty! I especially love your shoes and that Alexander Wang bag is perfection! I love the color!
I am totally with you! I hate spending money on basics because I’d rather by the “cool” stuff. But then when it comes down to it, I always need a plain black or white tee and I never have one. LOL. I love that you paired the tee with the snakeskin pants! And those lucite heels are so fun. Like floating on air! 🙂 <3

That’s why I don’t own enough basics – they are not fun to buy. Trends are though! I also have those heels, love them with your pants! I am forcing myself to wear more solid black and white tops with all of my printed bottoms. Baby steps!
