A good friend of mine came to me recently and said, “Help…I can’t find anything to wear to work…I don’t like anything…nothing fits the way that I think it should.”
Make no mistake, it is harder to find that perfect top when you have to dress for your chest, but it definitely NOT impossible. Here are a few tips I’ve come across on how to find work-perfect, boob-minimizing attire.
Blouses:
- Best sleeve lengths: Cap Sleeves, 3/4 length sleeves, long sleeves.
- Best necklines: Scoop neck or V-neck. Skin exposure will break up the drama. Wrap tops/sweaters are also a good choice – they completely eliminate the uni-boob look.
- Best colors/Patterns: Solid and darker. Light colors emphasize a large chest.
- Best shape: Fitted (but not skin tight) – darts are your friend!
- Other do’s: Small lapels and collars.
