Denim on Denim on Denim? Don’t mind if I do.
I need some advice! I found a style of boot I’ve been searching for for a few weeks. They don’t have my size in the style I want, but I can get another color for more than 50% off. Do I pull the trigger? I wanted black, and the color is plum, which seems pretty trendy to me. This is the inspiration, these are the boots.
Do you think I should wait until the exact pair I want becomes available? Is it too late in the season to buy these? Spring is kind of right around the corner…kind of. Thoughts and opinions welcome!

OMG I was looking at a pair just like that (but then opted for my clearance sale Charlotte Russe version) but I LOVE the plum color and think they would be a great addition to your fabulous boot collection. You don’t have anything similar….right? (style stalker)

LOL. I love this. I ordered them, but we’ll see. I’m still kind of nervous about the color. Thanks for the support! 😉
I have been tempted to buy boots but I am holding off since like you said Spring is right around the corner. Save your money and buy some wedges 🙂
Should have saved my money for a new place 😉 but instead, I bought them. Too cold in SF for wedges mostly all the time!
Buy.
Your comment totally pushed me over the edge, lady 🙂
I love when you double and triple up on denim! So good!
easy way to add a little spice to an otherwise totally neutral outfit!
Super cute outfit! Very inspiring–I don’t think I could pull it off though, lol
April, you definitely could! such an easy casual look! the trick is in using 3 different tones of denim, light medium dark 🙂
Hi Kate! I love the plum boots, but if you know you’ll end up buying black boots at a later date no matter what, it’s worth holding out (and maybe saving that money for spring buys, in the meantime)! You can’t go wrong with plum, though; it’s a surprisingly neutral color and looks great with everything!
Really enjoyed the post! 🙂
Great look! I love the different denim look. The polka dot chambray is so fun!
Thanks Laura! I’ve been getting some good pieces from Old Navy lately!
This look is incredible!!
thanks gf!
