One of the things I really admire about some of the other blogs out there is the consistency in presentation, editing, and branding. I have come a long way with this blog design in the last year {thanks Kyla!} but I am a total novice when it comes to photo editing, and I can’t settle on one look I like best. I voted for “skip the editing” but only because to me, each of the options looks a litte too heavy on the editing. I don’t think you actually need to skip editing altogether though! Any one of those options could be nice if you just toned it down a notch so that they weren’t so contrasty. Like your hair and sweater look almost solid black, so lightening it up/lowering the contrast would help! 🙂
I’m not against editing per se, but I agree that those (save the first one) are all a bit saturated. THIS is why you should come to that class with me 😉
Gosh, guys, I checked this from my work computer and you are RIGHT. The images are crazy saturated. does not look like this on my personal computer – so I think it’s about monitor settings. YIKES. 🙁
