Though it hasn’t been much a part of my style evolution lately, I’ve long loved Madewell’s vintage preppy luxe aesthetic. And, having won a gift card not too long ago, I decided it was time to go shopping! I’ve been stalking the website for months, but haven’t seen anything I just HAD to have, until last week. I swooped on these earrings, a super cute silk floral top with a bright yellow back {on clearance!} and some jean shorts, which sadly need to be returned.
The shorts had to be returned because of the fit, not because I didn’t love them. You see, I’m on the hunt for the perfect pair of boyfriend shorts…oh, wait…is that what I’m already wearing? I know, it’s confusing. Chalk it up to: you can never have too much of a good thing, or something like that. In addition to the pair I’m wearing, I ALSO want some boyfriend shorts that are a tad shorter than these with the same amount of looseness, possibly in a lighter wash with some distressing. Tall order, apparently, as so far they’ve been difficult to find.
