When my roommate saw this turban for the first time her immediate reaction was, “I love you, but don’t wear that.” And, like a teenager, it kind of made me want to wear it that much more. Even some of the fashionable ladies at work were a tad skeptical. Much debate ensued. Are turbans out? Leather? Intense. What can I say — I’m a risk-taker. Whether you want to call it a “fashion turban” a “headscarf” or a combination of the two {“turban headband” anyone?} I’m into it.
So, armed with such a bold accessory and lots of leather, I kept everything else minimal: jewelry, shoes, makeup {like I know how to do anything besides minimal makeup. c’mon.} And, proving once again that it’s all about attitude, every skeptic came around. My roommate even confirmed it was crazy, but cute.
