Flora Maximus

This floral maxi dress is yet another purchase made thanks to Pinterest. {Remember my impulse purchasing problem?}

From the time I ordered it until I tried it on, I was afraid the dress was too girly. For the last couple of months, I’ve been intent on finding a great floral maxi specifically to wear with my leather jacket. In the end, especially paired with some heavy duty jewelry, I think the look balances out. Tough meets girly. Rock meets bohemian, just the way I like it. Added bonus: the dress is fitted up top, which is great for petite ladies. A fitted and slim maxi with some heels can actually elongate you instead of swallowing you whole. I don’t particularly like being swallowed whole.

I also have to give a shout out to Covet Fashion for the awesome clutch. Although, I’m not going to lie, I’m so uncoordinated that I actually had to practice opening this clutch in order to figure out how to do it gracefully. Mission accomplished, I’m happy to report.
