Blowout

by Kate Franco on August 7, 2013 · 4 comments

If we’re being completely honest, I wasn’t expecting to dedicate an entire post to a hair blowout. Like many curly girls, I’ve had my hair straightened. Many times. Including frying it to death in high school, when having stick straight hair was a thing.

Last week I went to Drybar. And not only did I get the best blowout of my life, but the space was just too darn cute NOT to photograph. The lighting was magical, and I went so early in the morning that it was peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Breakfast at Tiffany’s was playing on TV and I had a nice hot cup of green tea to keep me occupied. They open at 8am, which is pretty much the most convenient thing ever.

That is so ridiculously hard to do! Drybar offers a number of different styles to choose from, but I went with The Manhattan, which is described as sleek and straight. When has anyone ever described my hair that way?! It was a must try.

From curly girl to sleek and straight in under an hour. And did I mention that it lasted beautifully for 3 whole days? It’s safe to say that I’ll be back for more.

No, drybar is definitely worth a post to itself for all the reasons you described. I did the same thing. It’s that good lol. Your hair turned out great!
