That I am obsessed with the 2010 Ikea Catalog? It arrived on my doorstep yesterday; my heart fluttered just a little bit.
For the record, I used to be the most anti-Ikea person you’ve ever met. I was so sad that the way of old furniture had gone by the wayside. Does any one else feel the same way? Furniture used to be passed down through generations, investment pieces made of solid wood with character and detailing. Ikea represented everything I hated about furniture today: so cheap it’s disposable.
I’m a little less hardcore about it now…and am even drooling over some of the possibilities for my little studio. And let’s face it…some of the stuff is not THAT cheap.
