My cousin and I have known each other our entire lives — we were born only 4 months apart.
There are some colorful stories in our history: tense moments, laughter and tears, joy and pain. Like the time I got wacked in the face with a fisher-price toy fishing pole {total accident}, the countless debates over who got to wear purple {Lila, because pink didn’t look good with her skin tone} and who had to wear pink {yours truly}, or the cheerleader v. jock controversy {JFTR, cheerleading IS a sport}. Over the years we’ve become so close that she’s more like a sister to me than anything else.
These are my favorite shots of her from our most recent Sunday Shootout.
If you get a chance, hop on over to her blog and check it out! She is a crafty lady extraordinaire. Her about me page is THE BEST. Plus, she’s a lot of fun an a total riot:
This was just supposed to be another Sunday Shootout post, but I got all meditative and filled with gratitude so I decided to do a dedicated post instead. Lila, thank you for always being there for me, for helping me see situations in new ways, and for being such a soul sister. Love you to pieces.
