Who knew that today was going to be one of those days? The kind of day where I managed to be frighteningly productive, still squeeze in a nap, have an awesome hair day and throw on an sweet little outfit on a whim? Do those days exist? Apparently they do.
This center part thing I have going on, while it might not be even noteworthy to you is, in fact, my new ‘do. Definite nod to the 70’s, which I love, but was mostly cut in an effort to manage these bangs as they grow out…
Also noteworthy: I bought this blouse even though my mom was not a fan. And the jeans were an Ebay steal a couple months ago. JBrand {my fave} for a mere $55, what?! The ring is this awesome chunky amethyst deal via Chelsea.
I think this outfit looks current, but it also has the 70’s written all over it. What do you think is the strongest 70’s component?
PS: this wall is my favorite new spot to take pictures.

Hey lady. I TOTALLY know what you mean about the bangs-middle part thing. When I started growing mine out I resisted the middle part as much as possible, but then I started to really like it! It’s back in, and I think it works well with your curly bangs. (I also really like that wall, too!)
I too love a center part, but my bangs aren’t yet long enough to fully cooperate.
I think the clutch is the strongest 70s component here, but I LOVE it all. I am really feeling flowing shirts that are tailored a bit longer in the back. You look fantastic!
I love the clutch! I wonder who she “borrowed” it from 2 NYE’s ago?hmmm………
I have yet to buy a flowy top like that, even though love them and that one looks GREAT on you. I feel like they make me look boxy. Do you think there are certain cuts that look better on women who aren’t real curvy?
I found you on the “it” list!
I love this outfit! I love the throwback to the 70’s but it’s with a modern twist 🙂
Can I just say I’m jealous of your middle part. I have a widows peak on my forehead and center parts just don’t happen in a cute way for me LOL
What a cool outfit- you totally rock those jeans, I am loving the patterned top- and the heels bring it all together.
I love how this is a great transition into fall.
I looovveee those heels!
