You may have seen a sneak peek of this throwback on instagram a couple of weeks ago.
It’s true — this sunflower skort was the first REAL piece of clothing I made myself. Throwing it way back to ’94. Lucky for me, elastic was easier than learning how to do a zipper. And the baggy loose trend was, well, trendy. When I pulled this gem out of storage recently, I was floored. I prefer to think of it as so ugly it’s awesome.
PS: I’ve also been on a huge dreamcatcher kick lately. Not that I’d actually ever get a real dreamcatcher tattoo, but I am hosting our bimonthly Book Club/Craft Night this week and have decided on dreamcatchers as our craft for the evening. So stoked! Digging the whole metallic flash tattoo trend, too. What about you?

I can not believe you made that skort! I am pretty sure I had a very similar pair of sunflower overalls, a sunhat and pretty much an entire sunflower wardrobe in 1994. But can we talk about how you fit in this? I am pretty sure anything I wore in 1994 can only fit around my ankles!
