How-To: Pleated Pants

I’m still in the process of figuring out what to wear with these pleated pants that are hanging in my closet! My thoughts go something along these lines:

• Oxfords — great for playing up the menswear vibe
• Booties — to add some sex appeal
• Peep Toe Desert Wedges — to add some height and rugged appeal.

Pair it with:

• Flowing blouses layered under form fitting short sleeve sweaters — great for work
• Ruffle front button up — for a little flirtiness
• Button up cardigan — practical and always stylish

Mix and match to my heart’s delight! Basically, my idea is to keep the tops short and tight {I tend to think that volume on the bottom means minimize the volume on top…call me old-fashioned.}. And, because I’m me, you know I’d pair this with a nice, fat stack of bangles to top it off. Or, I also love the idea of some bold sparkly earrings.
