Love, Life & the Pursuit of…Balance?

by Kate Franco on September 17, 2010 · 4 comments

Call me crazy: I’ve planned trip to go see a palm reader* & I’ve started researching my astrological sign.** Maybe Eat Pray Love has gone to my head? Or, maybe I’m just at a point in my life where I could use some guidance and balance.

What the stars have to say {favorably} about me:

  • Diplomatic & urbane
  • Romantic & charming
  • Easygoing & sociable
  • Idealistic & peaceable

And unfavorably:

  • Indecisive & changeable
  • Gullible & easily influenced
  • Flirtatious & self-indulgent

Take a closer look, what do you think? Does this accurately describe me? I was surprised by how accurate I thought some of the description was. What does your sign say about you?***

*when I was little, we would always drive past this HUGE sign on the freeway that read: Palm Reader. I was in grade school before I realized the Palm Reader was not, in fact, a library.

**And by researching my sign, I mean googling it.

***My grandmother is adamant that her nature is not reflected in her sign. Instead, she reads the horoscopes in the paper each morning and picks the one that she feels is most applicable.

I actually love this; I am SUCH a Leo, & while I don’t believe, like, daily horoscopes, I can get down with the idea of the season & time you were born influencing the kind of person you are.

Hope you find your balance. <3

That is a great astrology site. And by “great,” I mean “eerie.” Pretty dead on about stuff I’ve thought, but believed was just me being paranoid. We scorpios are kinda nuts!
Thanks for your Little Lessons!
