A long time ago I blogged about how to wear a lace dress. The lace trend was just kind of coming around, and I never ended up finding one that suited my sense of style AND was in my price range. Until Now {ah, the beauty of mass market}.
Last week in Little Lessons I blogged my need for more lace. And today, I bring you the new frontier:
It’s actually a peachy pink kind of color, not cream, and I wore it to a bridal shower this evening. Please note that without the belt this dress looks like a curtain. 0 Shape. 0. The wedges were oh-so-comfortable and matchy-matchy with the belt, but I wasn’t sure about wearing wedges to a fancy restaurant, so I tried these on for size, too:
And…drumroll please. It’s Maya’s onscreen debut! Her expression is priceless, don’t you think?

Oh, LOVE it!! I like either shoe – the pumps play up the delicacy of the lace, while the wedges give them a little more edge.
